From EKOAB Europe Day to the 1st International Global Nexus Congress
Our student Öykü Demirel from the Department of Political Science and International Relations successfully presented the paper titled “From Internal Solidarity to the Externalization of Governance Responsibility: The Paradigm Shift in EU Migration Governance,” co-authored with Arda Hazar Koçak from the University of Turin, at the 1st International Global Nexus Congress.
Developed from Öykü Demirel’s study prepared for the PSIR 300 Current Issues in European Politics course and presented at the Europe Day event organized by EKOAB, the paper examines the paradigm shift in the European Union’s migration policies. It will also be published in the congress proceedings.
We congratulate our student Öykü Demirel and wish her continued success.
